The Hunger Games my opinion

The movie “The Hunger Games” has a strong impact. In the Capitol, people wear gorgeous dress and hair and makeup and so on. Also each tributes performs in their character. Although The Hunger Games was written in detail in the book, it is no image. So in fact, it can see in the movie. And act and actress are very good. They act perfectly as their own characters. 

My favorite scenes are three things. At first, in the Capitol,  Katniss wears dress and lives in a large room. They are so beautiful and like a dream life. And Katniss and Peeta wrapped fire to impact for people. It’s so nice. I think that scenes should use 3D. If it will this, they would be  better. Next, I like Rue’s scenes. Katniss and Rue can find friendship, and when Rue passed away, It was so impressive. We could see Katniss’s  kindness. Third, I think it was so funny. When Peeta hid in the mud, he painted his face. It was so funny, I laughed.   

There were two bad scenes. At first, the violent scenes were too short. It had no impact. I felt bored. I think those scenes should act more creully and more reality. Next, Katniss and Peeta’s romance seems too short. In the book, their romance’s scenes are very important, and take a long time. But a lot of scenes were cut. I was amazed and felt bored too. I think their scenes should increase more.

In conclusion, I think The Hunger games movie was so good, but some scenes need to improve more.  

Spring Break

Spring Break

      I spent bored date during the spring break. Because I had a no plan. My friends said same things “I had no plan”. But it was big mistakes. Most of people traveled somewhere. I felt regret too much. I should have had plan during Spring Break. First day, I cooked dinner with my friend. It was so good. And  I went to restaurants to have dinner around here.  I found many kinds of restaurants. For example, sushi, BBQ and Japanese restaurants and so on. It was so sun and so delicious deal. Then I went to Portland with my friends. I looked forward to going to Portland because it was the first time. But it was rain during the day. I was so cold. I kept holding my umbrella. But I bought clothes. And I ate doughnuts. I went to “Woo Doo Doughnut.”   It was so crowded, and it was so delicious. When I went to go to Portland, I was talked by man. ”Are you Chinese?”  I said “No. I am Japanese”, so he said in Japanese, “I’m sorry.” I was so amazed, and I’m so happy. Also I should have gone to UWAZIMAYA in Portland.

I couldn’t have time to go to there. I want to go there some day. In conclusion,  I want to have plan before Summer Break. But I had a good time.

Pow Wow

I will talk about the Pow Wow. In my opinion, a Pow Wow is a traditional ceremony and he is deep meanings. For example, we saw traditional clothing, traditional dancing and traditional music. I saw the Indian people who wore traditional clothing looked so dignified. They made clothes with so many beads, and they were so gorgeous and makeup own face. Each design was  different and each person had their own thinking about it design. They also wore feather of eagles on their head. It is meaning of symbol. It means very important. And its color are basically red, yellow, orange. It means fire colors. The clothes are called “regalia”. Then traditional dancing was so interesting. Its dance was such as bird.  The foot step match in drum’s rhythms. Its dance’s name is  “traditional dance” and “grass dance”. The two dances were different types. And men and women also have different dances. The man who was dancing said, “I grew up with dance. So, foot step mean mother earth and heart beat”. He prayed about it. Also, the sound by using drum and voice appears universal. I was so amazed. This dance and music had such deep meanings. Then I heard about feeling of dancing to him. He said, “The best, awesome, joy”. He was proud of it. I felt so impressed. After I ask questions to him, I changed my point of view. I could enjoy seeing it. He was taught dance by his father and his son was taught by him. They took it over for many years. It is very good things. In conclusion, they have traditional deep meanings of the clothing, dancing and music.
